1. Order options

You can order goods in our Online Shop by placing the corresponding products in your virtual shopping basket and proceeding to the checkout, it is only once you have given the payment information and confirmed the order that your order is submitted which can then be accepted by us in the form of a statement of acceptance. You are able to remove products from the shopping basket at any time during the ordering process by firstly clicking on the contents of the shopping basket and then clicking on the “Remove” button next to the corresponding goods.

 

The following specific steps are necessary when placing an order:

- Choose one or more items
- Place the items in the shopping basket
- Proceed to checkout

- Confirm content of shopping basket
- Enter and confirm billing address and delivery address
- Input payment details

- Check order information
- Send order

 

Before sending the order you will have the opportunity to check and correct so that you can review again and amend any data inputted by going back one step as opposed to sending the order.

 

After ordering you will receive confirmation from us containing all data inputted as well as our General Terms and Conditions of Business so that the contract text is made available to you by e-mail. All data provided shall also be stored on our systems to help process the order. The order confirmation is simply our declaration that your confirmation has been received by us and is being handled. An effective contract shall be entered into upon our statement of acceptance.

 

The Online Shop and contract texts shall not only be available in German but also in English, French and Italian.

2. Delivery & delivery charges

We aim to deliver all ordered products from our warehouse as soon as possible following the order. Your order shall be examined and handled by us as quickly as possible. Please bear in mind however that it may it may take up to two weeks from the placing of the order to the actual delivery. Provided that you have chosen to pay either by credit card or by cash in advance, your order shall be handled as soon as payment has been received as cleared funds.

 

The normal delivery time with UPS is typically 3 to 4 working days. The delivery charges for deliveries within Germany are EUR 4.95. For orders and deliveries outside of Germany, the delivery charges may be higher; these are listed in the order summary and can also be found enclosed in the table below.

We will happily deliver the goods ordered to another delivery address; this can be provided during the ordering process. Please ensure that you also make use of this option if you are unlikely to be available at your home address.

3. Payment

Currently we can offer you the following payment methods:

Credit card: We accept both VISA as well as Mastercard. In order to pay with a credit card, you must enter the corresponding credit card information in the individual fields, including the 3-digit card security code that is found on your credit card.

Cash in advance: In order to pay by cash in advance, you shall receive a pro-forma invoice from us following receipt of your order. The pro-forma invoice contains the information necessary to make a transfer, including the invoice number, so that we can also allocate your payment to your order. Once payment is received we shall then send you your goods.

 

4. Returns, exchanges, complaints

Should it be necessary to return delivered goods after they have been received, we kindly request that the goods are sent back in their original packaging where possible. Please ensure you attach the invoice or an invoice copy to the completed Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA). Doing this will allow us to handle the returns in a prompt and uncomplicated manner.

 

Please get in touch with us to pick up the goods and call our hotline on 0049 (0) 5247 12 32 00. We shall then take care of ensuring that the goods are picked up from you by UPS.

 

Finally, we would like you to help us improve our service and would therefore be most grateful if you would state the reason why you have returned the goods. Relevant fields are provided for this on the Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).

5. FAQ

How quickly will my items be delivered?

After receiving your order, we will process your order within approx. 2-3 working days.

For payments by credit card, deliveries are made the next day after processing your order. For payments in advance, we dispatch your items approx. 2 days after receiving your payment.

We make all deliveries by UPS. Collections are generally made in the evening so that your order is with you the next day. For deliveries abroad, the delivery time by UPS may be longer. In general, UPS requires between 2 and 3 days for delivery.

 

Can I order items from the catalogue online?

All items from the catalogue can be ordered in the CLAAS online shop. If individual articles are no longer available, they are removed from the CLAAS online shop.

What happens if I am not at home when my delivery arrives?

Our carrier UPS will leave a card in your letterbox informing you that a delivery was attempted. The card will contain a telephone number. Call this number to specify your preferred delivery location and date. You can also specify a different delivery address such as your neighbour or nearby relative.

UPS will attempt to deliver your parcel up to three times. If you are not at home at these times, your order will be returned to us.
